LED Light Bulb With Built-In Wireless Bluetooth Speaker Color Changing By VKondra Review

I almost don't even know where to begin with this, it is so cool. When I read the headline and into it a little bit (you know how people skim through fine details) I thought it was just a light bulb that changes a few colors and plays music from Bluetooth out if it. Which is already awesome enough in itself. But to my surprise there is more! This thing has 26 different options, and then also a color wheel for custom choice of color! I don't think I could ever find a more awesome bulb than this one.

So now lets get into how it works. You can either download the app onto your phone via the QR Code provided in the box, or you can search ILink in the app store, which was the very first app that came up on my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. When you open the app, if you haven't already it will ask you to allow turning on of Bluetooth, of course hit yes and pair it. On mine it came up as ILink app. Connected quick and easily. Now connect the app itself but clicking the left menu (three lined) button and hit BT Connect. You'll search and the same ILink app will appear.  Now everything is set up and the fun begins.

On the first app page titled "Lamp" you'll be given a few options. Some you'll notice again on others like the Dimmer which is at the top near an On/Off switch This start page is quite nice as it offers a 6 Button Preset Color variety as well as a color wheel with all spectrum's for customized light color. Upon hitting different colors on the wheel it is fast changing and very good at distinguishing different colors. Keeping the front page full but simple it moves on to a tab captioned "Warm".

In Warm We find at the top a setting to change the bulb tight from cool spectrum to warm spectrum. For those who don't know, depending on that depends on the type of natural color it gives off. Cool being more on the blue spectrum of what the sun would give off and Warm being more on the red side. This gives a slide bar to adjust your spectrum between both. And yet again below it the convenience of being able to choose the brightness setting right below it.  Finishing off this tab with 5 choices of presets on the light spectrum of cool to warm. These 5 preset's include White, Naturelight, Sunlight, Sunset and Candlelight. Each giving off a different shade from the spectrum and matching quite well to its name.

Moving on to the 3rd tab at the bottom Captioned Music, this one is where you will find your list of music that you can play. But first, if you try to play a song and it does not come through the bulb, don't panic. I noticed on mine I had to open the Bluetooth settings again (only had to do this the first time pairing) and re-scan and select just ILink. Not ILink app, that will stay connected. Then you can reopen your ILink app and select a song and it will play through the light bulb. I also noticed I was able to leave the app running in the background and open things like browser, Youtube and Pandora and it still stay in sync and played though the bulb.  So the entire 3rd tab is dedicated to music selection but the next tab gets even more awesome.

So the 4th and final tab on this app is title "Scenes." It's a screen full of 12 preset color options and each one is quite nice. here is the list and what they do. Going from left to right on the screen.

Rainbow - Smoothly transitions through the colors of the rainbow.
Flowing -  A nice flowing light change between all of the colors.
Heartbeat - Flashes read to the beat of a heart.
Red - The light flashes Red to the beat of a heart
Green - The light flashes Green to the beat of a heart
Blue - The light flashes Blue to the beat of a heart.
Alarm - Flashes Red/Blue almost like a cop car would.
Flash - Very fast strobe light type flash through all the different colors. (Great for a party I'm sure)
Breathing - Light flashes through all the colors in a soft breathing style change. Changes at a calm rate of a calm breath.
Feel Green - A nice suttle Green. (does not change)
Sunset - Colors change to mimic the color changing of the sky as the sunsets. (One of my favorites)
Music - And Lastly we have music. This is the preset that allows the light to flash and change to the beat of whatever music you are playing. And it works very well at picking up fine tuned sounds in the music. I'll include a link of a small video clip I made and posted on Facebook of a piece of my husband's song playing through the bulb as it wouldn't allow me to post the other songs by known artist I had played through it. But being a person who listens to many different varieties of music we tested it on Metal, Rock, Techno and Rap and it all sounded great and the lights flashed perfectly to the music.

All in all I have to say this is most awesome Light Bulb I have ever had. A few extra features you'll find on here is in the corner of the app there is a button for a shake feature, so all you have to do is shake your phone to change the color. You can also go back to the menu where you first chose BT Connect and:
Timer Set - Which allows you to choose between Auto Light and Music times, with a time to turn off and arm as well as an alarm to turn on.
Sound Effect- Here you find in app volume control (although your phones volume buttons work just fine too) 5 Equalizer Presets (Pop, Classical, Jazz, Bass, Flat). And a equalizer that you can customize below that. This bulb is packed with options and on top of that use little power to run as it's only a 4w light bulb. I plan to use this probably every day. It is gonna be awesome to clean up and have a bulb playing my music for me so I don't have to move a Bluetooth speaker around constantly to hear it better. It really seems to distribute a nice loud sound equally around the room. I love it!
